TWAF promotes educational, research, and informational activities in support of wildlife, habitat, and the management of the same. The activities and programs include science curriculum for middle school students, leadership camps, youth hunting opportunities, teacher training and adult education seminars, most of which are conducted by the Texas Wildlife Association.

Texas Youth Hunting Program

tyhplogoThe Texas Wildlife Association (TWA) and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) have joined forces to offer youth hunts that are safe, educational and very affordable. We sponsor introductory, instructive youth hunts for a variety of species. We provide mentors, lodging and meals.

On June 25, 2010, Texas Wildlife Association Foundation recognized the role that women play in conservation and their unique capacity for passing on a love of the land.  The women on this video are just a few of the faces of women who have a passion for Texas and its future.  The majority of the programs referred to in the video are educational programs deployed by Texas Wildlife Association.
